Rated 5 out of 5 by from Baby Velvet Yarn I am so happy with this yarn and the way this project turned out! I was actually able to make 2 sweaters out of the one skein of yard. I was able to make the 6 month and 12 month sizes. I still have yarn left over. I was so please with the outcome that I purchased the Baby Velvet in white as to make more sweaters that can be worn anytime of the year and for multiple occasions!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pattern To answer the ch 40 issue in Row 1.... it's an extension of row 1. Easiest way to explain how to do add the ch is to go to You Tube and search extension of HDC to an existing row. It is super easy! I will attach once I sync my new laptop to my photos in my phone. Once I was able to figure out the ch 40 hdc turn, I've been flying thru this project. My only issue, and this is my issue, is the baby velvet is hard to work with at times. I hope this helps with the frustrations I have seen on this site & others on how to work the first row ch 40 hdc

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bernat crocheted baby party cardi What the heck? I get the first row done and then it says chain 40 🤔 what's going on here? Something is not right about this pattern. I've looked at other reviews to see if it's just me, and it's not! I'm thinking that's why it was a free giveaway. The pattern just not does not make sense!!! I wish it would be rewritten by someone who actually knows how to write patterns. It would save people the time and money and yarn. Very disappointed in it. It's a shame because it's a very cute pattern. I'm just going to go ahead and let my experience guide me. UGH.
