To insert the pipe cleaner - after knitting a few rows of i-cord turn to the back of the cord. You will see horizontal ladders. Insert the pipe cleaner into those ladders. Continue knitting and the i-cord will wrap around the pipe cleaner.

EYES:
Use Fabri Tac to glue your beads onto the face of your spider.

Create 5-7 spiders.

Make a spider web by cutting pieces of yarn and taping it on wall.
Connect the yarn pieces together.
Create the webbing.
Make larger rings on the web so it will fill the hole in center of wreath.
Attach web by wrapping ends around grapevine and gluing in place.
Lay out spiders on wreath facing different directions. Using a running stitch, sew spiders to leaves on the wreath so they are secure.
Add purple berry picks with hot glue.

JOANN HACKS:

  • When gluing the beads for eyes, use a toothpick to poke into the open end of a strung bead, apply glue and attach. It will help keep your hands clean and free of glue.
