Cowl measures 38” (96.5 cm) circumference and 6” (15 cm) wide.

Special Stitch ssk (slip, slip, knit) = Slip next 2 stitches, one at a time as if to knit, to right needle, insert point of left needle through front of sts, knit these sts together through back loop – 1 st decreased. Notes. Cowl is worked in knit Entrelac. To begin, a tier of triangles is worked to form the base. The triangles are knit in short rows. Short rows are worked over only a portion of the stitches, then the work is turned leaving the remaining stitches unworked. Read the instructions carefully to ensure that the work is turned (or not turned) as indicated.
