SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Bazzill Quilling Tool
- Quilling Paper Pack, Pastel
- Quilling Paper Pack, Bright
- Quilling Paper Pack, Jewel
- White cardstock or card base
- Light blue cardstock
- Light blue polka dot cardstock
- Black fine tip pen
- Sentiment stamp
- Light blue ink pad
- Adhesive
- Sewing machine & white thread (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
- Use a white card base or cut and fold a piece of white cardstock to make a 4 1/4"x 5 1/2" card base.
- Cut light blue cardstock to measure 3"x 5 1/4". If desired, use a sewing machine and white thread to stitch around the outer edges. Cut polka dot cardstock to measure 1"x 5 1/4". Adhere both light blue pieces to the card base.
- Cut white cardstock to measure 3 1/4"x 5 3/4". If desired, use a sewing machine and white thread to stitch around the outer edges. Stamp sentiment on lower right corner. Use a fine tip black pen to draw balloon strings centered on the white piece. Adhere to card base (use foam squares if desired to create dimension).
- Follow the instructions included in the Bazzill Quilling Tool to set up the tool for quilling.
- Insert paper strips from the Quilling Paper Packs into the Quilling Tool and spin to create tight coil “balloons". Glue end of strip to each coil to secure the coil shape. Adhere “balloons" to the card front, overlapping the drawn strings.
