Lay your pattern on top of the quilted blocks and cut out.
If you choose to change the straps from the webbing, cut each strap listed in pattern by the length of the strap and width of 4". Iron interfacing to each piece.
Fold the strap in half lengthwise and press. And then fold outside edges into center and press.

Cutting and piecing the Double Windmill Block

1/4" seam used for all piecing

Following the drawings for marking, sewing and cutting, you will have 4 square triangles that are exactly the same.

Cut two squares from two different fabric patterns. (Fabric 1, Fabric 2) using size chart.
Layer with RST, Fabric 1 on bottom and Fabric 2 on top. Keep the same fabrics on top and bottom for all squares.
On top fabric, draw a line diagonally from corner to corner and draw a line from second corner to corner.
Draw an additional line 1/4" on either side of these two lines as example 1 shows.
Sew the two squares together diagonally following the red line for first stitching and then turn your square and follow the 2nd sewing line. Example 2
Cut square from corner to corner following the center cutting lines.
You will have 4 half quarter square triangles looking the same.
For the next section cut a square according the size chart. (Fabric 3)
Cut this square in half diagonally. Example 3
With right sides together, pair one of the quarter square triangles (Fabric 1 and 2 sections) with one of the half square triangle halves. Example 4
