Bind off using color 1 (aran)

Tuck in and trim loose ends with a crochet hook

Finishing:
Now you’ll need to stitch around the outside of the pillow using color 1
After stitching the first 2 sides, insert the pillow and stitch the 3rd side

Tassel(s):
Find a flat solid object such as a DVD, CD or game case.
With the yarn used for the pillow, wrap the yarn around the case width-wise 15 times.
Slide off the case.
Cut a piece of yarn about 8 inches long and loop thru the top.
Tie a knot at the top of the 8inch piece to create a circle (the yarn will be loose).
Tuck the knot on your circle inside of the looped piece you started with to hide it.
Cut another piece of yarn about 8 inches long.
Place horizontally on a table.
Place your other piece so that 1-1.5" of the original looped piece is above this piece of yarn.
Wrap the yarn around the body of the original looped section about 3-4 times and tie a knot.
Twist the top circle a couple times at the base and tie a knot.
Trim the bottom of your tassel.
Loop the tassel through the side of your pillow using a crochet hook and tie to attach.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun project for scrap yarn! (I used Bernat Blanket Yarn) This is a really easy pattern to follow and took no time at all to knit. I have a ton of leftover Bernat blanket yarn from my holiday slipper socks projects and this project took care of most of it. I didn't have 10 colors, but this pattern is easy to modify for the colors you do have. My pillow came out a little longer than the 14x18 pillow size suggested in the instructions. I ended up buying a 14x32 insert that fits perfectly. I also skipped the tassels but that was just a personl preference. Lots of ends to tuck in, but I did those all at the end and it wasn't too bad.
