This is lovely fabric -- great stretch and recovery.
I bought another color of this and liked the fabric enough to order this black. It's great for shirts and cuffs, etc.

Be aware that the ribs run selvage.
I bought for collar, cuffs and band on a hoodie. It worked perfectly but that way the ribs ran I had to piece the band. For a 1 piece band you will need more then a yard depending on size.
I sewed it on my serger and it handles beautifully. The stretch and pop back was perfect for cuffs.

I was absolutely contemplating making a couple of pair baby leggings for my nanny girl out of the scraps that I had left over after making myself two skirts, a calf length open cardigan, a very useful and plain sleeveless shell and two headbands. I'm traveling internationally soon, and I was going to make myself a few linen items to throw in the suitcase, but I am absolutely going to buy more of this tomorrow (spending money I don't have 😣) to make a few more wrinkle resistant items. It has an excellent weight, which gives a nice, polished look to everything. I don't even bother using patterns for the pencil skirts, and I might throw together a little color block dress, a tailored pair of leggings and a couple more tops as well. It would make a great tunic. It definitely works best for garments that you want to lay close to the body. THE GREY WILL SHOW EVERY LUMP on your body, so although I love the tight skirt I made, I will definitely be making the leggings out of a darker color. I used the pink/red for the first skirt and it's flattering all around. Good stretch and good disguising ofs unflattering cellulite

Green is basically gray
Seeing this online it looked like a beautiful shade of sage green, but is actually a definite gray color. I will use it but am disappointed. It is a great fabric though. Tops, turtlenecks etc.

Beautiful Fabric at Reasonable Price, But Challenging to Sew
I love the feel and weight of this fabric for a knit pullover top, but did not love the challenges of sewing it. First, it was a rather bouncy fabric with ribs which made it difficult to sew straight seams. Definitely recommend an even-feed foot, but the fabric keep snagging on the feed dogs and on the foot. Sewing with tissue paper on the seams helped reduce the snagging. It was difficult to hem by top stitching so I handstitched them. The fabric is too heavy and thick for self-binding the neckline. It was a disaster so I recut the neckline and used fold-over elastic. Overall, this simple project took much, much longer than usual. This fabric is okay for experienced sewers, but definitely would not recommend it for beginners. In the end, my top turned out very nice and looked like Ready To Wear instead of homemade.

Gorgeous Fabric
This medium weight ribbing fabric contains rayon which makes it feel silky and expensive. It's stretchy with excellent recovery. I made a turtleneck in the tan color (kind of like camel in color) and the smokey olive color. Love both colors. The fabric is dressy enough to layer under a sport coat. Note that the ribs run from selvedge to selvedge instead of lengthwise. Because I like ribs running up and down on garments, I had to lay out the pattern pieces to account for that. Contrary to the laundering instructions, I washed the pieces in warm water and dried them in the dryer before cutting out because that is how the tops will be laundered in the future. The fabric came out looking the same as it went in. Not sure if it shrunk though. I used a stretchy stitch on the serger for all seams. Hemmed the sleeves and bottom with a double needle on the sewing machine. I hope Joann keeps this fabric in stock in various colors.

Great Drape & Stretch
I used this fabric to make Simplicity S9014 and I'm very pleased with the turn out. I will definitely be buying more of this fabric.

OBSESSED WITH THIS FABRIC YALL
I would upload my photos but I do not want the photos to be owned by Joanns. But, I can not rant and rave enough about how amazing this fabric is. I own a baby boutique and this ribbed knit is my all time favorite. I have been hoping and praying it would come out in multiple colors but they havent added any new. It is even more amazing when they have a discount on it because I can get more! My customers bought out all of my handmade items before the night was even over. GET THIS FABRIC NOW!
