SUPPLIES & TOOLS:
- Templates Provided
- Fabric (various colors to fit your decor)
- Wonder under
- Iron
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Lamp base
- Tape
DIRECTIONS:
- Apply wonder under to the fabric using an iron, following the directions on the wonder under with the type of fabric you selected.
- Place the templates face down onto the wonder under side of the fabric and trace with a pencil.
- Cut the fabric pieces out and remove the paper on the back.
- Tape the pieces onto the shade to figure out your layout.
- Use the tip of the iron and push in spots on the iron on shapes to secure it to the lampshade. This is just to tack it in place, make sure to not iron over the tape or it will melt the tape.
- Remove the tape once all the pieces are tacked in place.
- Use the iron to secure the fabric pieces in place making sure to iron all the edges down. Where the fabric runs off the shade wrap the excess fabric to the back and iron it down.
JOANN HACKS:
- Make sure to trim off any excess so the fabric only wraps around to the fabric part on the back and doesn't go onto the plastic guard.
