SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

  • 1/3 yd Each of 6 cotton prints or solids
  • 1 3/8 yd Fabric for backing
  • 1/2 yd Fabric for binding
  • 38"x 48" Piece of batting
  • Template plastic to make triangle template
  • Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
  • Basic sewing supplies
  • Iron and pressing surface
  • Sewing machine

DIRECTIONS:

    36"x 44" Quilt
  1. Read all instructions before cutting and sewing.
  2. Use accurate 1/4" seams.
  3. Cut 2 strips 5 1/4"x WOF from each of the 6 - 1/3 yard pieces.
  4. Make a template from plastic following triangle pattern.
  5. Using template cut triangles from each of the strips so you have 21 triangles of each print/solid. You will have a total of 126 triangles.
  6. Sew triangles together in strips as shown in Diagram A. Make 9 strips of 14 triangles each.
  7. Press each triangle strip in opposite direction for easy nesting when sewing.
  8. Sew rows together.
  9. Trim sides as shown in Diagram B. To find the downloadable diagram click on the "GET PATTERNS" tab above.
  10. Sandwich backing, batting and quilt top. Quilt as desired.
  11. Trim and sew on binding.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy peasy I read the other reviews that gave this one star.I don't agree. I read the directions and the reviews. The pattern is under the tab pattern. I found the directions easy to follow. I make quilts all the time. If you don't want to cut out each quilt then buy a triangle template ruler which makes the cutting so very easy. Went together easy. Very fun and relaxing quilt to make.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so great This pattern is labeled as intermediate but with missing parts that makes it much tougher. I can get the directions and the triangle pattern but I cannot find Diagram A or B. It is supposed to be under patterns but does not seem to be so.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Directions unclear These directions include references to diagrams yet none are attached. Also when you print out the pattern, the dimensions do not match and was .5" more than the stated dimenstions for the triangles. Very confusing
